District Curriculum
The students of the Albion Public Schools receive instruction through
a carefully planned curriculum adopted by the Board of Education and which
includes State of Michigan recommendations for essential skills in all academic
areas. The curriculum is comprehensive, insures sequential development of
skills and is as diverse as the student population.
Music, art and physical education are offered at all levels. After
school extended learning programs are available at all levels for students
who need additional learning assistance. A comprehensive testing program
in the areas of math, reading, writing and science is designed to assess
student achievement and to improve curriculum and instruction.
Albion High School is accredited by the North Central Association.
Caldwell School is accredited by the Michigan Accreditation Program and
the North Central Association. All other buildings are in the accreditation
process and have been granted interim status by the State of Michigan.
