ALBION HIGH SCHOOL CLASS OF 1971
Morning Star, July 15, 2001, pg. 11
Coming up on Saturday, July 28 will be the 30th anniversary reunion of the Albion High School class of 1971, which includes yours truly. We’ve been able to contact most of our class members and are looking forward to a great time for the events planned that day and evening.
If you have any old Albion High School yearbooks, old Breeze or Zephyr newspapers, etc. that you don’t want, yours truly could use them in my Albion history archives along with other Albion materials such as city directories, Albion picture postcards, photographs, etc. Don’t throw stuff out before contacting me. Thank you for your support and consideration.
Some of us went to Dalrymple Elementary School when we were kids. Each year photographs were taken, and there was a composite class photograph containing all of the students and the teacher. While gathering material for our upcoming reunion, I came across a photograph of our 6th Grade class at Dalrymple, 1964-65 school year, which we are featuring this week in our Historical Notebook. Many of these students grew up to become part of the Albion High School Class of 1971. "Miss Chipman" was the afternoon teacher, and "Miss Hamilton" taught in the morning (It took two teachers to handle our class for a full day).
