ALBION HIGH SCHOOL CLASS OF 1973
Morning Star, June 15, 2003, pg. 17
This summer there will be several Albion High School alumni class reunions, and former classmates will be coming across the country to reminensce and renew old friendships. If your class is having a reunion this year, be sure and post the information on the guestbook at: www.albionmich.com. Your classmates can also can read these Historical Notebook articles on the site. Let them know. Why not have my latest book “Albion in the 20th Century,” as well as the favorite “A History of the Albion Public Schools” at your reunion event? These would also make great door prizes. Give me a call at (517) 629-5402 for more information.
This year the AHS Class of 1973 will be holding its 30th anniversary reunion. This class consisted of 186 members. Class valedictorian was Amy Passic (sister of yours truly); David Aughton and Larry Deal were the salutatorians. The following year, the post-World War II “Baby Boomer” generation peaked here with 226 in the class of 1974, and the numbers began to go downhill after that.
